Pinclick Privacy Policy

Effective date: 30 October 2026

Pinclick (the "app") is a free arcade game published by Emil Merdzhanov ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what choices you have. Contact: etmerdzhanov@gmail.com.

1. No account

You do not create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or password.

2. What we collect and why

DataWhyWho handles it
Anonymous player ID: a random identifier created the first time you play. It is not derived from your device or identity. To keep your scores and rank together. Our server
Nickname: a random name we generate (for example "SwiftFalcon42"). You can change it to another name of 3 to 16 letters, numbers or underscores. Do not use your real name. In this version of the app nicknames are not shown to other players. To label your player profile. Our server
Scores and run data: the score and time of each run, plus the timing of your taps for that run. To compute leaderboards and your rank, and to detect scores that could not have been achieved by normal play. Tap timing is used for that check; we do not keep it after the check. Our server
Country: the two-letter country from your device's region setting (not GPS, not precise location). For the country leaderboard. Our server
Technical data such as your IP address and request time, which any server receives when your device connects. To deliver the service and keep it secure and working. Our server host
Settings stored on your device: coins, whether you have seen the hint, consent state, a queue of scores not yet sent. To make the game work. Never leaves your device except scores as described above.Your device
Advertising data: Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID (only if you allow it), IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, device and app information, and your interactions with ads. To show, measure and limit ads, and to prevent ad fraud.Google LLC (AdMob)

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, or payment information. The app has no in-app purchases.

3. Advertising and your choices

The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob (banner, full-screen, and optional rewarded ads). Nothing is asked when you launch the app. After your first run the app asks for your choices:

You can change your choice at any time from the "Privacy options" button on the results screen (shown where required). You can also reset your advertising ID in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads), or opt out of personalised ads there. Learn how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

4. Analytics

The app does not use any third-party analytics service. Our server keeps only the scores and run data described above. Google AdMob may measure ads as described in section 3.

5. Sharing, storage and retention

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers named above, who process it under their own terms (Google) or on our behalf (our server host). Our servers are hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States; data may therefore be processed outside your country. Our web server keeps routine access logs (including IP addresses) for a short time for security and troubleshooting. We keep your player ID, nickname and scores for as long as the app is active, and delete them when you ask us to (section 7).

6. Children

Pinclick is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where your local law sets that age), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights and how to delete your data

There is no account, so we identify your data by your anonymous player ID. To access, correct or delete your data: open the app, finish a run, and on the results screen find Support code at the bottom, tap Copy, then email the code to etmerdzhanov@gmail.com with the subject "Pinclick data request". We delete the data linked to that code within 30 days and confirm by email reply. We will not ask you for any other personal information. (The Support code appears once the app has been online at least once. If you have uninstalled the app, the code is gone from your device and the data on our server is no longer linked to any device or person.)

8. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and if the change is material we will tell you in the app.
